Woodland Gardens Work Best When Built Slowly

My woodland garden is really coming along, after 6 years of planting. Listen to my 3 minute vlog as I walk you round to the sound of birdsong this evening.

My Woodland Garden

In the first year, I added a Maple, and a young olive tree. In the second year, I added willow to create depth and an interesting corridor, or avenue of young trees.

Flowers I have added are Hollyhocks, Tulips, Anemone, salvia, fuchsia, lavender, African daisies, pot Marigolds, Lilies, Michaelmas daisies, and extended the Campanula Porscharskyana to this established woodland garden.
