Oriana’s Garden

Here is Oriana’s Garden a year on. Oriana is often a better gardener than me. She grows amazing vegetables. I think I grow amazing lavender.

Many people are afraid to trim lavender. Don’t be. Trim before the flowers dry out. You will be helping the bees as there will be more flowers next time from the blue green new growth.

Words say nothing when a picture paints …. keep reading to find out more.

Work in progress

Remember to prune back your lavender every year for fresh and abundant growth.

My own lavender has a beautiful spread because I cut it right back to the fresh blue growth every year. You can still leave some for the bees.

Top tip: There will be more abundant hedge- like growth when you cut your lavender back yearly. (Win/win.) More for you and more for the bees.
